Singapore rain radar and weather

Open the live rain radar

Rain radar

Watch rain cells move across Singapore on the radar map, built from National Environment Agency (NEA) data. Use the time scrubber to replay the past hour and look at the predicted movement for the next hour, then play it as an animation.

Forecasts and regional weather

Rain alerts

Turn on rain alerts for your area and thisis.sg warns you when rain is approaching, using how close the radar rain is to you. You can snooze any alert.

Air quality and heat

Check the PSI and PM2.5 for the north, south, east, west and central regions, laid out like a compass, with a plain-language band such as Good or Moderate. Heat stress (WBGT) readings and nearby lightning counts are shown too.

Flood and lightning warnings

Flash flood warnings from PUB and lightning reports from NEA appear in one alert feed, ranked by severity, so the most urgent warning is first.

Common questions

Where does the rain radar data come from?

From the National Environment Agency (NEA). thisis.sg is an independent app and is not run by NEA.

How accurate is the rain prediction?

The next-hour view is a short-range estimate of where rain is moving. Showers can form, grow or fade quickly in Singapore, so treat it as guidance and not a guarantee.

What do the PSI bands mean?

PSI is the Pollutant Standards Index. Lower readings mean cleaner air, and the app labels each reading with its band so you do not need to remember the numbers.

Do I need to sign in to see the radar?

No. The radar, forecasts and air quality are free to view without an account.
