Not sure how many fans of Gordan Ramsay is out here, but I definitely enjoy watching him on Master Chef and Hell Kitchen. Call me a sadist but I just love watching how he make blunt comments that are jaw-dropping sometimes.
Putting that away, we honestly can’t comment much on his culinary skills cause none of us here tried his cooking (Definitely wish we could someday). So to make it more realistic, and to support our local celebrity chef, we are introducing you to restaurants in Singapore by Singaporeans celebrity chef.

2. Artichoke by Bjorn Shen
If this name rings a bell, then you have probably watched MasterChef Singapore 2018 where he was a resident judge.
At an earlier trip to Artichoke, Chef Bjorn Shen shared this with us: Early on when the restaurant was still young, he always tried to please everyone with what they wanted on the menu, until one day, he had a mindset change “This is my restaurant, my own money” and he just did what he wants to do. He decided that he doesn’t want to give people what they wanted because different people want different things and it’s hard to please everyone. With that mindset, Artichoke has been serving Middle Eastern food that wins hearts and awards.
Location: 161 Middle Road Singapore 188978
Opening Hours: Tuesday – Sunday: 4PM – 9.45PM
Saturday & Sunday Brunch: 11.30PM – 2.45PM

3. Relish by Willin Low
Name as 1 of 3 chefs that are reinventing the city’s traditional food culture, Chef Willin Low specialize in what he calls the “Mod Sin” cuisine. You can expect you to find western food with a touch of familiar local ingredients and taste. Go for the wild rocket burger which is the star that kick-started Relish years back! The patty is just so thick and juicy, and it goes perfectly while with the Sarawak pepper cream.

4. Forest by Sam Leong
Former PM Lee Kuan Yew, former US presidents Bill Clinton and George Bush, and Queen Elizabeth II of England, these are just some of the public figures that Chef Sam Leong had served his creation to.
Here at Forest, they serve contemporary Chinese fine cuisine, of which you will find some unique creation. With great service, great ambiance and definitely outstanding food, the price here is also above average, but we promise it is going to worth your every dime. Not to mention, this is a One Michelin Star restaurant!

Don’t leave this place without trying their signature dishes, the seafood bee hoon, and roast chicken! The seafood broth is rich, creamy and flavorful while the been hoon isn’t soggy despite being drenched in the broth. On another hand, the roast chicken crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, even the chicken breast was soft and not dry. Do make a reservation before coming down here as it is usually packed.
