Running can get very boring if you’re just following a trail round your neighbourhood block.
- Bedok Reservoir Park
It is a generally nice and scenic place to have a jog in. The total distance around the lake is approximately 4.3km. After a run, you can go to the floating deck to freshen up, it is situated near the Activity Mall event site, which offers a spectacular view of the reservoir.
What makes this a great place to run is the variety of dining options along the way, such as Bedok Food Centre and popular bistro Wawawa.
2. Green Corridor
This is the place where you see a lot of Instagram worthy photos being taken. Definitely worth the run/jog to experience an interesting route and at the same time take nice photos of the area. This place has nature and history combined into one, the route is about 10.5km long starting from old Tanjong Pagar Railway Station and ending at the old Bukit Timah Rail Station.
This unique trail will lead you through different terrains such as grass, gravel and clay through Bukit Merah, Clementi, Holland Village and Buona Vista.
3. Kallang Riverside Park
Definitely one of the more underrated but one of the most scenic spots to run in, this trail brings you pass landmarks like the Singapore Flyer and the F1 Pit Building on one side of the river, and the Singapore Indoor Stadium and private estates of Tanjong Rhu on the other.
This would be suitable if you work in the town area and you’re looking to run with your colleagues/friends after work to wind down. Start your route from Kallang Wave Mall and end at Marina Barrage, take a train back from Bayfront MRT to Stadium MRT or run back if you’d like.
