We’re almost at the end of the year and before we know it, we’ll be listening to Christmas carols and exchanging gifts with our loved ones! However, due to the pandemic, we’ve all got our holiday plans on hold. Nevertheless, we can still have fun in our own little red dot with these programs lined up this November.
Baybeats 2020
If you don’t already know, Baybeats is a music festival held annually in Singapore. Typically, the 3-day event will be held at Esplanade with a line-up of local acts performing. However, due to the safe distancing measures, the organisers have decided to move it online. The -day event will be live-streamed on Facebook and Instagram. There will be a total of 24 participating acts this time. Some of the local artists include Astreal, THELIONCITYBOY and M1LDL1FE.
If you’re a fan of alternative music, be sure to tune in this weekend and be a part of their first ever live-stream event!

11/11 Sales Shopping
For all you shopaholics out there, you’d be familiar with the massive 11.11 sale that’s held annually. Some of you might have even saved up on your latest pay, to splurge on this day! Online shopping platforms like Lazada, Ezbuy, Taobao and Shopee are known for their attractive discounts. Other retailers like Superga, Nike and Modparade have also started their 11.11 sale, that’s ongoing from now till 11 November 2020.
BTS Map of the Soul pop-up
For you K-pop fans out there, you’ll be thrilled to know that a pop-up store of the BTS: Map of the Soul has been scheduled to launch on 14 November, in Plaza Singapura. The pop-up store will feature different themed photo spots in several experimental zones. There will be posters and figurines that are up for sale as well. Before you get all excited and make your way down there, remember that you’d need to book a time slot due to their limited capacity.
